Dr. Maggo has been my family doctor for about a year. She is the most caring health professional I have ever met. When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in late 2020, my Toronto family doctor of 30 years NEVER called me once to find out how my radiation treatment was going. My wife suggested I should call her family doctor – Dr. Maggo. She agreed to be my new health care provider. Suddenly I had a doctor who cared about my health. Whether it’s in person or a telephone consult, Dr. Maggo is there for me. She is only 10 minutes away from the house, instead of an hour-long commute from Mississauga to my former Toronto doctor’s office. At 70, health issues pop up and she’s on the case setting up referrals or making sure the pharmacy is up to date dispensing my meds.
